Celebrity Tattoos - Victoria "Posh" Beckham

Celebrity Tattoos - Victoria
Celebrity Tattoos - Victoria

Since today is Wednesday and it is time for another celebrity tattoo post I thought I would go with former Spice Girl Victoria "Posh" Beckham. One of the reason I decided to do her today is because of the post I wrote yesterday about tattoos being trashy or sexy. Now it should be no surprise to people that Victoria has several tattoos and they are in noticeable places. But in my opinion the way she carries herself and they attitude she has her tattoos do not look trashy to me at all.

Victoria has five tattoos as of now and living up to her Posh nickname she has kept them classy if that makes any sense. Her first tattoo is on her lower back and it is five stars. The five starts represent her, David and their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Her second tattoo is going down the back of her neck. Victoria and David got these matching tattoos on their 6th wedding anniversary. It is in Hebrew and is from the Song of Songs 2:16: I am my beloved and my beloved is mine. Which is you remember Christina Aguilera has this same tattoo.

Megan Fox's New Tattoo

Megan Fox's New Tattoo

If you are an avid fan of Megan Fox you are well aware that she sports several tattoos on her gorgeous body. Megan claims to have a total of nine tattoos on her body. Some of those tattoos include a a pink flamingo on her upper thigh, a poem that Megan wrote herself on her rib cage that reads, "there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART" as well as a Shakespeare quote on her back, "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies." just to name a few. But if you look at the cover of the latest Empire magazine that Megan is on the cover of you will notice a new little tattoo on her shoulder.

If you look close enough you will see that this new little tattoo is in fact an Autobot symbol, most likely to symbolize her work in both Transformer movies. With Megan's out there personality and wild ways one would just simply think she got this tattoo to give props to the movie that made her a household name. However, if you are a true Megan Fox fan you should know that this photo of Megan was taken a few years back and that new tattoo on her shoulder, isn't really a tattoo at all. The Autobot symbol was photoshopped on Megan's shoulder by Empire Magazine to help promote the new Transformers movie. So to make things clear, Megan did not get a new tattoo of the Autobot symbol. As far as anyone knows Megan hasn't gotten a new tattoo in some time, unless it is somewhere that can't be seen.

Tattoo Designs and Ideas For Rib Tattoos

Tattoo Designs and Ideas For Rib Tattoos

Rib Tattoos can be a unique option to explore if you are looking on getting a body art. For one, it is not for everyone, you have to have the body and charisma to flaunt it. And most importantly, rib tattoos are considered by a lot of people as one of the most painful parts of the body to get tattooed, considering that it is close to the bones and there are lesser tissues to serve as padding to the skin while the needle is penetrating on it.

The rib cage is comparable to a big canvas to work on so its important that you choose a design that would compliment your whole body. Most women who had rib tattoos done on them choose floral designs starting from the hip area all the way up to the side of the breast. Cherry blossom tree tattoos are popular on the ribs of sexy women done in the colors of dark pink or red complete with leaves and twigs. While this can look really captivating, there are other flowers to prospect that would look really gorgeous as design for rib tattoos - stargazer lily, orchid and Hawaiian flowers like hibiscus and plumeria, to name a few. Groups of butterflies and stars tattooed with vibrant colors can also look astounding since they can be perfectly symmetrical to fit the rib area. Men usually opt for masculine designs like dragons, guardian angel, koi fish, snakes and birds. These are designs best executed if size is on the larger scale so the rib area is definitely a good placement for them. Other tattoo art worth rendering on this area are pinup girl, tribal art, dark arts and hard core designs.

Pain is one factor to consider if you are bending on this kind of tattoo theme. However, as they always say, pain is temporary and it's nothing you can't bear. Choosing a design is another part of the task that can be a challenge as there are literally hundreds of options to pick from. There are reliable tattoo galleries that you can find online with high quality tattoo art. Choose a design from them that you really adore and will be proud of for the rest of life so you won't have any problem showing it off.

Random Tattoo Thought

Random Tattoo Thought
Random Tattoo Thought

Okay to be frank it is Saturday and I don't really have a great post in mind for today, but I have been thinking of something that I thought I would share. For some reason I have been having the urge to get more tattoos but I haven't acted on these urges mainly because of my husband. However, that is a different post for a different day.

But this got me thinking about something. When we all get old and have wrinkly saggy skin what in the world will our tattoos look like? I mean I'm in my twenties now and it is cool to have tattoos but what happened when I'm in my 60's or 70's?

These thoughts have got me thinking should I get anymore tattoos because of this or should I just live it up while I'm young and get as many tattoos as I want. Honestly, these kind of thoughts are not going through peoples heads when they get tattoos. But maybe they should? But who am I kidding? I think you should be able to do whatever you want to your body/skin when you are young. Or heck even when you are old.

It's not uncommon for people who are in their 50's or even 60's to get their first tattoo. So I guess the moral of this post is. If you think you won't be able to handle that butterfly you got when you were 18 sagging and turning into something else. Then you should probably stay away from the tattoo gun. But if you are like most people you will just deal with it when the time comes.

Writing Tattoo Mistakes

Writing Tattoo Mistakes
Chinese writing and words are widely used in tattoo designs. The most popular Asian symbols include love, hope, family, courage, and dragon. It is moving to see that our ancient culture becomes fashionable. Unfortunately, I have seen many writing tattoos with problems. Mistakes include weird meanings, wrong translation, and mismatched words. Some writing shows substandard designs or poor taste. In some cases, the Chinese characters are haphazardly lumped together with no coherence. These tell me that people did not take time to research their writing tattoos. They just rush in to get what is hot without professional help. The result is regret.

In order to create an original tattoo writing for you, preliminary designs are needed. In other words, I do several trials for that design and select the best one. People think that tattoo writing is easy. This is wrong. Artistic handwriting and word designs take time and patience. However, it is worth it. Writing tattoos are urban and stylish.

writing tattoo meanings, word translation
To create a meaning writing design for you, my first step is communication. I ask you for the tattoo meaning. In other words, what do you want your Asian writing to convey? This is important because the Chinese words should convey what is unique about you. It can show your personality, experience, values or beliefs. Hence, your meaning must be accurate. These days Chinese tattoo mistakes are becoming common. Chinese is a complex language. An English word or phrase can have different interpretation. I am proficent in tattoo translation. I will help you choose Chinese characters, words or phrases that best represent your individuality.

Text tattoo and Asian symbol require accurate meanings. This is why many ink specialists refer business to me. They understand that Chinese writing tattoos must bear the right meaning. Who wants to risk using Asian symbols with poor translation or wrong meanings? This is smart of them because text tattoo requires mastery of the Chinese language and cultural relevance. They refer clients to me for 'safe' translation and accurate Asian symbols. As a Chinese artist, my eyes and intuition are sharp. Your Chinese writing tattoo will reflect the high standard that I have for my fine art creations. See my Tattoo Artwork Gallery.
